Our complete training program will prepare you for a rewarding career as a Veterinary Assistant in a variety of settings including veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, and zoos without any previous experience or knowledge. In this program, we will cover all the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully pursue a career as a Veterinary Assistant. This program begins by exploring veterinary terminology, office procedures, first aid for animals, farm animals and their health. Our program also includes veterinary terminology software that will allow you to review the information in a fun, interactive way and utilize the audio glossary for correct pronunciations of the terms. Upon successful completion of our program, you will be prepared to sit for the NCCB national certification exam to become a Certified Animal Care Worker (CACW).
